Highly recommend Callum at fox electrical services. Used him multiples times on jobs I do and also in my own home. Turns up when he says and carries out his work to a high standard. The brief was to install a new lounge circuit and replace the current mish-mash of fuseboxes with a single, RCD protected consumer unit. It soon became clear that this was not going to be possible given the condition of some of the original aged wiring.

Options were offered including an additional 'bolt on' fuseboard or a rewire of existing outdated circuits. We opted for the upgrade. We were very impressed with Callum. He explained clearly the necessity for all of the works required to bring the electrics up to current standards and was able to find solutions to the various challenges presented, not only by the construction methods employed in a 1960s building but also those created by the 'add ons' of various builders and other electricians over the past 50 years or so.

The process was completed in two phases over two weeks separated by a brief intermission to allow for rooms, loft etc to be cleared or rearranged. Although Callum's was not the cheapest quotation that we received he was undoubtedly competitive but it was his confident attitude and obvious experience that swung it for us.

He has been punctual, patient and despite some technical difficulties, has remained cheerful throughout. We have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone wishing to employ the services of a high quality electrician.
